You’ve been to retreats, camp, Bible studies and church. You’ve learned a lot. A LOT. But is the world any different? Is your community?
Come to MOVE and find out ways to put what you’re learning into action. This year, we’re focusing on Now What: what it means to take a holy risk of faith, based on James 2:14-17.
Have you ever watched Shark Tank? It’s a reality show where people with great ideas compete before a panel of potential investors in order to win funding for their idea. We’re putting the MOVE spin on it all.
Before your youth group arrives at MOVE, get them together to research a real need in your community, something that you can do something about. Begin to put together a strategic plan (you’ll have some time to work on it at MOVE and have the help of coaches). You’ll have a chance to present your idea to a panel of experienced leaders where you’ll get constructive feedback. The youth group with the winning idea gets a $500 grant to put it into action!
