Adventures in Leadership (AIL) isn’t just another high school leadership program—it’s a next-level, faith-driven experience that equips high school students to lead as Christians in their churches, schools and communities. AIL combines experiential learning and personal reflection with practical leadership development rooted in Scripture.
Students spend several days on-site at Adventurous Christians, learning about how God wired them, what it means to be a shepherd leader, plus essential camping skills. They then put that learning to the test as they venture out into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area for several days, along with an experienced guide and a youth ministry leader. Ministry leaders pour into them throughout the week, providing valuable insights. These young leaders gain experiences that extend well beyond the camp setting, including creating a network of young Christian leaders who return home inspired and ready to make a meaningful impact.
