The NWC Ministerial Association Retreat for pastors, church ministry staff and spouses, will be held Oct. 3-5, 2022, at Sugar Lake Lodge near Grand Rapids, MN.
Summer is coming to a close, and the accelerated pace of fall kicks in. New faces in our congregations and on our staffs. Old rhythms and established ministries hum along. New ideas and plans unfurl as we enter into a fresh ministry year. After the driving drumbeat of September, we can feel a little tired and a little breathless. This is a chance to change your pace. Check in on your soul. Reconnect with colleagues. Enjoy the beauty of the northern Minnesota woods and the luxury of Sugar Lake Lodge. Pray and listen to what the Holy Spirit might be saying to you.
This Ministerial Association retreat theme is Restore: Come Be Part of the Story. The retreat will offer a chance to hear from Kara Stromberg, our new NWC Superintendent, and Herb Frost, our new ECC Executive Minister of Ordered Ministry and Develop Leaders. They will share a little of what they are hearing from the Holy Spirit as they launch into a new fall of ministry. Let their stories be an invitation into the larger story of what Jesus is doing in his kingdom during this season.
The retreat costs can be found on the downloadable PDF Registration Form. All costs are per person. Costs cover housing for Monday and Tuesday evening, 5 meals, beginning with dinner on Monday and concluding with breakfast on Wednesday. Please register by Sept. 16, 2022.
